Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
• Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to material handling.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills; strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment to move materials within the facility.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas.
• Organise and maintain inventory of materials.
• Ensure materials are properly labelled and stored in designated areas.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage to materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas.
• Assist with physical inventory counts as needed.
