Job summary

Want More in Sharjah is seeking a Material Handling Specialist to move materials efficiently and safely within the facility. This full-time role includes operating forklifts, loading/unloading, receiving materials, and maintaining inventory with a strong emphasis on safety.

Ideal candidates are physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have basic English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks.
• Valid forklift certification is an asset.
• English communication skills are preferred but not required.

Job description

Our company in Sharjah is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Material Handling Specialist to join our team As a Material Handling Specialist you will be responsible for efficiently and safely moving materials throughout our facility This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move materials within the facility
• Load and unload trucks and containers using proper material handling techniques
• Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of shipments
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
• Prepare materials for shipment by packing labeling and securing items as needed
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and productivity in material handling processes

Requirements

• Canadian nationality preferred other nationalities welcome to apply
• Ability to communicate in English is preferred but not required
• Prior experience in material handling preferred but not required training will be provided
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and perform physical tasks such as bending stooping and climbing ladders
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Valid forklift certification is an asset
