Job summary

GS E&C is recruiting for a senior Materials/QA-QC professional to oversee material control, local purchasing, and transport at site in the Dubai area. The role focuses on ensuring QA/QC compliance, analyzing material data, and monitoring performance to enable on-time plant construction goals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in oil & gas, pre-contract experience, and strong English communications. Middle East experience is preferred and the position requires site-based work with close

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College degree in Material Science or Engineering (B.S. preferred).
• Advanced reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English.
• Middle East experience preferable.
• Minimum of 10 years work experience in oil & gas field.
• Pre-contract experience.

Responsibilities

• Material control and handling.

• Recommend improvements and assist with construction plan alterations.

• To analyze materials and data for compliance with QA/QC requirements
• To monitor performance, ensuring quality control and creating documentation.
• Recommend improvements and help with alterations to any construction plans.
• Oversee the supply chain and delivery of materials.
• Other duties as assigned by the management.

• Bachelor’s/College degree in Material Science or Engineering.
  (B.S. degree is much preferable)
• Advanced reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English.
• Good oral communication skills (meetings with contractors, senior authority management, technical disciplines).
• Middle East experience preferable.
