Job summary

Dubai Technical Training Center is seeking an experienced Tailor to lead tailoring instruction for our students in Dubai. You will demonstrate sewing techniques, guide garment construction, and provide feedback to help students develop essential skills.

You will maintain a safe, organized workshop, support curriculum development, and stay current with tailoring trends to ensure a high-quality educational experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a professional tailor.
• Proven teaching or mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong garment construction knowledge including fabric selection, pattern making, sewing, finishing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver practical tailoring workshops for students.
• Demonstrate tailoring techniques across fabric selection, cutting, fitting, finishing.
• Provide personalized instruction and feedback to students.
• Maintain a safe, organized workshop and track attendance.
• Assist with tailoring curriculum development and evaluation of progress.
• Stay current with trends and incorporate into curriculum.
• Create a positive learning environment and support student success.
• Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Training Manager.
