Job summary

SmartConnect Qatar is hiring a Mason for a construction project in El-Ain, Egypt. The role involves bricklaying, cement mixing, and precise masonry work on walls, arches and structures. On-the-job training is provided for those without experience, and a valid Egypt work permit is required for foreigners.

Basic English is an advantage for communication on site. Salary is 1300$ per month with accommodation and transportation from the accommodation to the job site, and there are opportunities for

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding labor including lifting heavy materials.
• Basic English communication is an advantage for site coordination.
• On-the-job training available for those without prior Mason experience.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks or other materials to build or repair walls, chimneys, arches and other structures.
• Mix cement and mortar to desired consistency.
• Use hand and power tools such as trowels, levels and hammers.
• Cut or shape bricks using saws or chisels.
• Ensure the alignment of structures using plumb lines or levels.
• Fill cracks or holes in walls with grout or mortar.
• Clean up job site after work is completed.

We are hiring a Mason to join our construction team in El-Ain Egypt As a Mason you will be responsible for the physical labor and manual tasks involved in building and repairing structures using bricks concrete blocks and natural stones This is a physically demanding job that requires strength stamina and attention to detail

• Mix cement and mortar to desired consistency

Requirements

• Egyptian national preferred but open to foreigners with valid work permits
• Ability to communicate in basic English is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and objects
• Previous experience as a Mason is preferred but not required
• on-the-job training will be provided for those without experience
• Must have own visa and valid work permit for Egypt
