About The Role

The Marketing and Communications Manager supports the Director of Marketing and Communications in driving the operational and financial aspects of marketing, ensuring the facility's viability, and maximizing opportunities. This role involves managing marketing communications, promotions, and implementing brand strategies for SIRO. The manager works closely with the Director to align activations with programming and budgets, promoting SIRO’s philosophy and services to help guests and members achieve their goals, fostering long-term success and a strong reputation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • PR & Media Relations: Engage with media, manage agencies, handle crisis communications, create press content, host media and KOLs, and review media releases drafted by regional PR agencies.
  • Marketing & Communications Strategies: Develop detailed implementation plans and events aligned with overall brand activities, and evaluate market feedback post-events.
  • Hotel Brand Positioning: Define and drive the hotel’s positioning, values, and USPs in collaboration with the marketing team and PR agency. Create compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders.
  • Storytelling & Content Creation: Support storytelling strategies including brand partnerships, activations, guest programming, content creation, photo/video shoots, and post-production.
  • Agency Management: Build and maintain relationships with local PR agencies.
  • Partnerships: Identify and pursue strategic local and regional partnerships to enhance brand positioning, attract new audiences, and generate engaging content and events.
About You
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Degree in Marketing, Social Media, Advertising, or related field (Bachelor’s or higher).
  • At least 5 years of experience in brand marketing and PR within the service industry, with strong social media skills.
  • Experience with luxury brands (desirable), fitness/spa industry operational experience (desirable), and sales/business development (desirable).
  • Excellent customer service skills, a welcoming personality, attention to hygiene, strong administrative skills, positive attitude, leadership, and motivation skills.
  • Flexible schedule, available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
