Overview

To define, refine and drive the company's marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal, through innovative brand initiatives, ensuring brand awareness of individual brands and AGRetail as a company and retail sales opportunities are maximized.

Main Accountabilities
  • Define and develop the marketing strategy, by analyzing the market characteristics, and cost and mark-up factors, in order to drive the Company objectives.
  • Plan and manage all marketing activity, events and promotional materials whilst accurately forecasting and managing budgets.
  • Develop a marketing calendar, as well as revisiting and refining the plans throughout the year to ensure continual success.
  • Implement Customer relationship management program, including data segmentation, acquisition and retention and develop new CRM/direct marketing initiatives through the data/insight received.
  • Ensure articulation of organization's desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the organization, and to clients, both internal and external, ensuring that AG Retail is viewed in the best possible manner by end users (retail customers), B2B partners (brand principals both new and existing) and essential partners in business (mall leasing teams and marketing dept's)
  • Keep the Retail team informed of developments in the fields of marketing, communications and public relations, and use this information to help the company operate with initiative and innovation.
Educational Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing or public relations (specialised in Marketing)
  • Master in Marketing would be advantageous
Relevant Experience
  • 5-8 years of total experience out of which at least 5 years in any related commercial field e.g. retail, food, hospitality is a must.
