Position Overview
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a Dubai based leading pharmaceutical company as a Marketing Manager.
This role is responsible for leading the marketing team in developing and implementing brand plans across a number of therapeutic areas to optimise the sales and profitability of the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead Product Managers to develop and implement brand strategy, act as brand champions and inspire their colleagues, particularly the sales team, to achieve defined brand objectives.
- Ensure the development of five year and brand plans that address the needs of patients and clinicians to maximise the profitable sales of products.
- Work closely with the Sales to ensure sales team input and buy-in to the Brand plans and to ensure optimal implementation of the tactics to achieve sales and marketing objectives within agreed budgets.
- Ensure the monitoring, evaluation and review of these tactics, adjusting activity as required to achieve agreed sales and market share objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience of managing a pharmaceutical portfolio with a proven track record.
- Direct line management experience of managing a marketing team.
- Brand management experience.
- Must speak good English, have good communication and presentation skills and be able to work within cross-functional teams.
- Marketing accreditation, CIM (or equivalent), A degree in life sciences or marketing (or equivalent).
