REPORTS TO: Marketing Director

POSITION DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE OVERVIEW:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive Fee For Service & Joint Venture events portfolio objectives, including brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role will lead a dynamic marketing team, oversee campaigns across multiple channels, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team to achieve campaign goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and meet key performance indicators.
  • Analyse marketing data to assess campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

DIRECT REPORTS: Marketing Specialist, Marketing Senior Specialist

CONTRIBUTION TO CULTURE: Promote Ethara's brand values, vision, and mission by creating campaign concepts that reinforce Ethara's culture.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • UAE-based with domestic and international travel as required.
  • Remote working permitted in line with Human Capital policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE EXPECTED: 5-10 years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on events and entertainment companies/clients.

EDUCATION EXPECTED: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT & CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals across Fee For Service & Joint Venture events portfolio and relevant events.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute brand positioning and messaging.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, email, and events.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet KPIs.

BRAND MANAGEMENT & CUSTOMER INSIGHTS:

  • Maintain and enhance the event and brand image, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of brand campaigns and initiatives.
  • Utilize customer insights and data to inform marketing strategies and improve engagement and retention.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.

BUDGET, ANALYTICS & REPORTING:

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Track and report on marketing effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Analyze performance data to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management with recommendations for improvement.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute tasks according to the Delegation of Authority (DoA) and delegate when appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, legal, and company policies.
  • Execute additional requests within the scope of the role.
