Position Overview:
This is a pivotal opportunity to build and lead an in-house marketing function from the ground up. The business has historically relied on external creative agencies, but is now ready to bring that capability in-house — beginning with the appointment of a skilled and strategic Marketing Manager. Working closely with the CEO, you'll lead the charge in amplifying the company’s visibility and market position across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional marketing strategy aligned with the CEO’s vision.
- Strengthen brand visibility and consistency across all touchpoints and platforms.
- Lay the foundation for a future in-house marketing team; this is a leadership track role.
- Campaigns & Execution
- Lead marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
- Plan and oversee participation in major regional events and exhibitions, including Big 5, Expo, and other key industry platforms.
- Create and manage marketing assets such as brochures, pitch decks, case studies, and digital content.
- Creative & Content Development
- Work with external agencies to ensure creativity, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
- Bring the company’s story to life through impactful campaigns and content tailored to B2B audiences.
- Contribute fresh, bold ideas that set the business apart in a competitive landscape.
- Brand & Communication
- Manage brand identity and messaging across all internal and external communications.
- Oversee social media, website updates, email campaigns, and SEO/SEM initiatives.
- Support the commercial team with materials that drive lead generation and sales.
- Budgeting & Reporting
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Track ROI and performance metrics, continuously optimizing strategy and execution.
Candidate Requirements:
- 8–12 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or B2B sectors.
- Proven success developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong creative instincts and storytelling capabilities.
- Comfortable working with agencies and eventually building internal capabilities.
- Exposure to large-scale exhibitions, events, and branding initiatives in the region.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
