The Marketing Manager is the voice of the hotel, acting as a Brand Champion for the hotel and will be responsible for assisting and executing all Marketing projects and initiatives, supporting with Social Media tasks and monitoring the hotel’s PR activities. This role is especially focused on the marketing and promotion of the group and its hotel’s and is responsible for updating and maintaining all marketing channels, both internal and external. The Marketing Manager has knowledge of the individual Hotel’s targets and goals. The role requires executing the implementation of the overall Marketing Strategy for the Brand, Rooms, F&B, Promotions and Spa with the support of team members and assisting with the day-to-administration responsibilities in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner.

II.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With Hotel Team put together an annual marketing plan for the hotel/room’s, Health club/Spa and F&B.
  • Work with the graphic design team and be responsible for overlooking the creation of design templates for all of the hotel’s promotional requirements, following brand standards.
  • Working on the Marketing campaign plan together with the team as well as meeting print and digital media, suppliers and partners and negotiating rates for advertising and promotion of the hotel.
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
  • Ensure the properties content in all channels remain accurate with brand compliance.
  • Evaluate direct booking promotions of competitors and regional levels.
  • Regularly monitor the social media to alert guest relations team or front office of any unhappy guests.
  • Actively maintain a database of emails and phone numbers from the PMS for retargeting campaigns.
  • Promote and support all marketing and PR activities including special events, sponsorship opportunities, merchandising campaigns, exhibitions and property inspections.
  • Responsible for assisting and coordinating photography and video production for the hotel when required.
  • Disseminates marketing related information to other departments, establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
  • Ensure consistent brand and property message is communicated in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community using social media.
  • Be a brand champion for the hotels ensuring all collateral conforms to agreed brand standards, using the right tone and voice compliant with corporate guidelines.
  • Execute and implement appropriate use of marketing and PR content, creative resources, translation and photography while optimizing an effective online presence in line with regional strategy.
  • Ensure hotels have appropriate marketing and PR archives and content including up to date media lists, press kits, collateral, photo and video library, newsletters, brochures, desktop publishing and all matters relating to marketing and PR.
  • Respond to customer postings as appropriate tackling any complaints and issues.
  • Achieve agreed performance goals and objectives of role set out by Line Manager and complete any reasonable task given from the Line Manager in a responsible and productive manner.
  • Preparing marketing reports for the management by conducting research and analyzing data to identify and define audiences.
