WSP in the Middle East is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Lead to join our Corporate Marketing and Communications (Marcoms) department.
Job Description
The role will focus on developing and executing marketing strategies that align with the business's strategic objectives. It requires significant experience in project managing and delivering audience-driven campaigns using various communication channels to achieve business goals.
You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies, positioning the company brand positively among stakeholders, in line with its strategic objectives. Occasional travel to key Middle East office locations may be required.
Responsibilities
- Developing the annual marketing plan in collaboration with the business and wider marketing communications team.
- Conducting desk research for campaign development and audience analysis.
- Developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns for internal and external audiences, working collaboratively across teams. Campaign management involves understanding audience needs and determining effective communication methods.
- Contributing to cross-cutting business themes and corporate brand activities.
- Setting objectives and metrics for marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Creating integrated campaign tactics across media relations, social media, events, employee communications, government relations, and advertising.
- Producing compelling content for various audiences, including articles, visuals, blogs, infographics, and videos.
- Developing targeted content programs focused on industry issues and expertise.
- Supporting key account campaigns and messaging for major clients.
- Planning marketing communications for major project openings, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding the business, projects, and clients to collaborate on campaigns.
- Building relationships across the organization to demonstrate marketing's value.
- Leading meetings to identify new topics and build communication networks.
- Collaborating with the Strategic Growth Team on business development and sales cycle marketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related fields.
- At least 10 years of marketing experience, including in the Middle East region.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
- Skills in video production and engaging communication writing.
- Experience managing agencies for design, video, and photography projects.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing channels and processes.
- Understanding of digital tools like email marketing, websites, and social media.
- Confidence working with executive leaders.
- Ability to challenge constructively and manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to lead marketing initiatives and present ideas effectively.
- Knowledge of GDPR implications on marketing and compliance practices.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and innovative thinking.
