Assists the Marketing Manager in maintaining and implementing an effective filing & administrative system for all matters related to sponsorship and event organization.
Identifies and maintains a general database of potential sponsors for all events and targets specific ones related to each event separately.
Keen negotiating skills to handle potential sponsors and ultimately close advantageous arrangements.
Self-motivator and outgoing, enabling socialization and meetings with potential sponsors and clients.
Writing skills to formulate all correspondence related to sponsorship proposals, negotiations, and letters of thanks and appreciation.
Assists the Marketing team in handling events with the concerned departments within the Hotel to ensure that all branding for sponsors is as agreed in contracts.
Responsible for all materials provided by the sponsors.
Assists the Marketing team to maintain an effective working relationship with all members of target media, electronic and print, local, national, and international, to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions.
Hosts members of the media, strategic partners, and top clients at the property’s functions and events.
Assists the Marketing team in the production of all promotional material, including gathering supporting data and collateral material.
Takes photographs of all internal functions, banquet and conference functions, and VIPs visiting the hotel.
Attends all events and promotions.
Compiles press cuttings from Arabic and English publications.
Submits a monthly report to the Marketing Manager updating on all matters related to the activities within the department.
Attends division and general meetings whenever required.
Undertakes additional duties as required by the General Manager, Area Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Marketing and Communications, and Corporate Marketing at any given time.
Promotes efficiency, confidence, courtesy, and a high standard of social skills.
Promotes and ensures good interdepartmental relations.
Displays a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times, promoting a good company image to guests and colleagues.
Demonstrates pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel, thus identifying a high level of commitment.
Adheres to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
Reports any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
Passes any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
Participates in any Training/Development schemes as recommended by senior management.
Assists the Duty Manager in any tasks outlined/detailed by him/her.
Complies with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
Ensures that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
Additional Information:
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum of 12 years experience in a 5* hotel.
Experience in the GCC and/or Middle East Region is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
