Who we're looking for: We are seeking a passionate and organized Marketing Coordinator, specializing in Events, to join our Wunderman Thompson Marketing Coordinator Program.

This role sits within a large global community dedicated to supporting Microsoft Marketing initiatives. Specifically, you will be part of the Events expertise group, responsible for coordinating and executing a variety of Microsoft's global and local digital events.

The ideal candidate will act as a Project Manager, coordinating internal VML resources, Microsoft stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure the successful execution of these events.

What you'll be doing:
  • Events Consultation & Planning: Participate in events planning and scheduling, providing support for various event types in line with Microsoft corporate guidelines. Offer consultation on Event Platforms (ON24, Teams) and internal event management tools to both internal and external stakeholders and advise on situations requiring additional reviews and approvals.
  • Events Preparation: Act as a Project Manager with full responsibility for the successful execution of events. Coordinate all parties involved - VML and Microsoft stakeholders, and third parties. Manage event participants' agendas and event assets, such as videos and presentations.
  • Events Execution & Post-Events Activities: Execute events from start to finish in line with guidelines and procedures. Provide chat moderation support, manage post-event participants' agendas, and deliver reporting and insights from the event.
  • Stakeholder Management: Educate internal and external stakeholders on the MC Program Events agenda and topics. Act as an advisor on tools used for events planning and execution, and engage in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of our services by sharing best practices and success stories.
What you'll need:
  • Ideally 2+ years' experience in the execution of any marketing-related initiatives, including 1+ year experience in events management, or a project/account management role.
  • High level of compliance with company rules & processes, e.g., personal data protection or brand guidelines.
  • Proven project management skills & experience, with readiness to assume responsibility for own KPIs, track activities progress, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Solid skills in Microsoft tools and software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
  • Solid command skills and ability to share often complex information in a structured way.
  • Comfort in dealing with client's and third-party stakeholders.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple events and activities, and ability to prioritize urgent and important tasks.
  • A strong team player with the ability to establish working relations with culturally diverse internal and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and orientation to detail.
  • Fluent English is essential (requirement for additional language skills may apply).
