Overview
Our client is looking for a hardworking and motivated Marketing and Business Development Manager in the UAE.
The role involves developing and strengthening relationships with potential and existing customers in order to promote and market various products in the beauty line business. The candidate will also conduct marketing surveys and facilitate new business opportunities for the company.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and research new market sales opportunities for skin/beauty products in the UAE and other GCC countries, including Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco.
- Establish contacts and develop relationships with key personnel in the beauty/cosmetics industry to advance the business process of beauty products.
- Collect necessary data for marketing campaigns for beauty/skin products targeted at potential customers.
- Assist in obtaining approvals from UAE/GCC government agencies for beauty products.
- Conduct periodic surveys of competition to assist the company with planning strategies and forecasting goals for business in the UAE and GCC countries.
- Keep the supervisor updated on new opportunities, the status of existing business, competition, and any other relevant information related to the business.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Economics or Marketing.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing or business development role; experience in the cosmetics/skincare industry is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of beauty and skincare products and their uses.
- Extensive personal network in companies and institutions involved in cosmetics and beauty products in the UAE and GCC countries.
- Strong knowledge of business opportunities for beauty and skincare products in the UAE and GCC countries.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Possession of a UAE driving license and a car is highly desirable.
