The Marketing and Communications Executive supports the hotel 's commercial and brand objectives by translating annual marketing plans into coordinated campaigns, public relations activities, partnerships, content, and guest-facing communications. The position helps ensure the hotel presents a consistent identity across physical and digital touchpoints while generating measurable exposure through media relations, events, brand activations, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Execute annual marketing and communications plans in line with approved budgets, commercial objectives, and expected return on investment.
- Monitor hospitality, cultural, lifestyle, tourism, and travel trends relevant to hotel positioning.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify market activity, communication opportunities, and emerging guest preferences.
- Deliver public relations initiatives that support hotel marketing priorities and commercial goals.
- Maintain brand consistency across signage, marketing collateral, guest experiences, events, and communications.
- Ensure B2B communications for corporate, trade, and MICE audiences remain aligned with brand guidelines.
- Support B2C campaigns targeting leisure, lifestyle, dining, spa, and hotel audiences.
- Coordinate with creative, design, print, and production agencies to deliver marketing materials within agreed schedules and budgets.
- Manage production requirements for hotel gifts, promotional materials, and media giveaways.
- Implement global and regional Accor campaigns using approved brand assets and guidelines.
- Maintain a current library of photography, videography, graphics, and other visual marketing assets.
- Coordinate new photo, video, or graphic content where required to support hotel campaigns.
- Execute PR activities covering Food and Beverage, Rooms, Spa, Leisure, Events, and MICE.
- Maintain an updated media kit containing fact sheets, executive biographies, imagery, hotel information, and approved brand content.
- Coordinate press visits, media events, familiarization trips, and other publicity activities.
- Draft press releases, news stories, feature articles, executive statements, and supporting editorial content.
- Develop compelling brand stories that strengthen awareness and media interest.
- Maintain accurate media databases and journalist mailing lists.
- Monitor daily media coverage and compile clipping reports for hotel and PR leadership.
- Respond to routine media inquiries promptly and coordinate internal input when required.
- Support established crisis communication procedures and media response protocols.
- Implement integrated campaigns across relevant online, offline, PR, event, and partnership channels.
- Support brand activations, sponsorships, collaborations, media partnerships, and hotel experiences.
- Coordinate campaign execution to ensure creative quality, timing, messaging, and operational readiness.
- Track campaign performance against agreed objectives and recommend improvements based on available data.
- Manage day-to-day communication with PR, creative, design, production, and marketing agencies.
- Monitor agency scopes, deadlines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate hotel participation in tourism board campaigns, destination promotions, events, and external collaborations.
- Track marketing and communications expenses against the approved departmental budget.
- Prepare regular campaign, media coverage, expenditure, and ROI reports for leadership review.
- Work closely with Sales, Food and Beverage, Spa, Rooms, Loyalty, and Events teams to align communications activity with operational priorities.
- Support Talent and Culture with management of the hotel 's LinkedIn presence where required.
- Amplify executive thought leadership, hotel achievements, and relevant media coverage across appropriate channels.
- Maintain organized archives of campaign files, media assets, creative materials, reports, and marketing documentation.
- Distribute monthly marketing calendars, media schedules, campaign plans, and performance summaries.
- Share relevant daily media monitoring summaries with leadership and PR stakeholders.
- Protect brand standards while ensuring marketing communications remain locally relevant and commercially effective.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor 's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of practical Marketing and PR experience.
- Previous experience within Hospitality or another consumer‑focused industry is preferred.
- Strong copywriting and editing ability with careful attention to tone, grammar, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Experience managing public relations activity and media relationships.
- Comfortable drafting press releases, executive statements, articles, and campaign messaging.
- Experience coordinating multi‑channel marketing campaigns.
- Practical understanding of brand communications, storytelling, guest engagement, and campaign planning.
- Experience working with marketing, PR, creative, design, or production agencies.
- Able to manage agency timelines, deliverables, budgets, and communication efficiently.
- Experience coordinating events, press activities, collaborations, or brand activations.
- Familiarity with producing marketing collateral and managing creative production.
- Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Suite is advantageous.
- Comfortable using brand communication tools, reporting platforms, and internal collaboration systems.
- Able to interpret campaign results and prepare clear performance reports.
- Strong organizational ability in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Fluent in English.
