Job Description

The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our regional Marketing & Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about social media, events, brand communication, and team collaboration to support meaningful campaigns and help bring Cigna Healthcare's mission to life, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

As Marketing Assistant, you will support the day-to-day execution and coordination of marketing activities across the region. Your core focus will be:

Social Media & Content Support
  • Coordinate and manage social media content in collaboration with local agencies across all Cigna Healthcare MEA platforms.
  • Review and brief agencies on creative direction, ensuring content aligns with our brand voice and objectives.
  • Draft, edit, and publish compelling content for internal and external audiences across blogs, newsletters, social posts, and emails.
Event Coordination & Brand Activation
  • Support the planning and execution of corporate and wellness events, webinars, and activations.
  • Assist in organizing logistics, promotional materials, speaker support, and post-event follow-up.
  • Maintain brand consistency in all marketing touchpoints and event materials.
Team Support & Internal Alignment
  • Organize monthly marketing team meetings, including setting agendas, taking minutes, and tracking follow-ups.
  • Update Cigna Healthcare’s internal and external platforms with the latest news, initiatives, and industry updates.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and social insights, providing recommendations for improvement.
What We Are Looking For
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, social media, PR, or event coordination.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); basic understanding of social media tools and analytics platforms.
  • A self-starter who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and isn’t afraid to ask questions or seek support when needed.
