Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Market Sentiment Analyst to monitor, analyze, and report on market trends, public sentiment, and media coverage that may impact Bybit’s reputation and operations. This role involves proactive identification of potential risks, coordinating with internal teams to develop response strategies, and ensuring aligned messaging during crises. The analyst plays a crucial role in safeguarding the company’s brand perception by tracking industry Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), social media narratives, and news trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor Market & Social Media Sentiment:

• Continuously track and analyze social media channels, forums, and news sources for sentiment trends related to Bybit and the broader crypto industry.
• Identify negative news, rumors, and misinformation, assessing their potential impact on the company’s reputation and market standing.
• Provide real-time alerts on emerging risks or shifts in sentiment that could affect business operations.

Coordinate Stakeholder Communication & Crisis Response:

• Collaborate with internal teams such as PR, Social Media, and Brand Voice teams to ensure a unified and proactive response to media narratives.
• Work closely with the Crisis Response Team during high-risk incidents to shape external messaging and mitigate reputational damage.
• Draft crisis response communications, including social media statements, press releases, and internal briefings.

Track Industry Trends & Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs):

• Monitor influential KOLs, crypto influencers, and major industry news outlets for trends that may impact Bybit’s public perception.
• Analyze competitors' public sentiment and crisis response strategies to provide insights for enhancing Bybit’s approach.
• Compile and present sentiment reports with actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Analyze Data & Provide Insights:

• Utilize social listening tools, analytics platforms, and sentiment tracking software to quantify market perception.
• Develop detailed reports summarizing sentiment trends, emerging risks, and recommended mitigation strategies.
• Maintain an up-to-date sentiment dashboard to support real-time decision-making during crises.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree within PR/Marketing/Communication. An MBA or other advanced degree can be advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in market research, social media monitoring, crisis management, or related roles within fintech, crypto, or financial services.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with sentiment analysis tools, social listening platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Meltwater), and media monitoring solutions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in drafting media responses and crisis communications.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and regulatory developments in the sector is highly preferred.
• Crisis Management: Ability to perform under pressure, make quick decisions, and support strategic communications during crises.
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Language: Fluent in English (Chinese proficiency is an advantage)
