Job summary

A leading company in the tourism industry is seeking a Market Manager for the Indian market. The role involves managing operations, maximizing revenue, and maintaining relationships with hotels and corporates, particularly in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in destination management and a deep understanding of the Indian and UAE markets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in a DMC in UAE.
  • Good knowledge of India market and UAE destinations.
  • Proficiency in English & Hindi, plus other local languages.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth operations for the Indian Market and maximize revenue.
  • Design USPs in collaboration with Hotel Contracting.
  • Support the Groups department in quotations and relationships.

Job description

Responsibilities: The Market Manager - India will ensure smooth operations for the overall Indian Market, increase materialization and maximize revenue with correct positioning and our USPs to be designed with Hotel Contracting and support to the Groups department.
Educational Background
- Graduation Degree in Travel & Tourism or any related field
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in a DMC in UAE
Knowledge and Skills
- Good Knowledge of India market - familiar with all the cities and regions of India.
- Strong Knowledge of UAE dstinations - Hotels and products
- Good Relationship and connection with UAE Hotels, particularly Indian centric Dubai City Hotels
- Good Relationship and connection with corporates for MICE / Group + Incentive Agencies. - Thorough understanding of the Groups business including the quotation.
