Market Access Senior Manager Job Responsibilities :
Government Affairs & Policy Advocacy
• Develop and execute a cohesive government affairs strategy for the META region aligned with global and regional business objectives.
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key policymakers, regulatory authorities, health ministries, and trade associations.
• Monitor and influence public policy developments affecting the healthcare, medtech, and reimbursement landscape.
• Lead the company s representation in policy dialogues, multi-stakeholder forums, and public-private partnerships.
Reimbursement & Market Access
• Collaborate cross-functionally with regional market access, pricing, medical, and commercial teams to develop and implement reimbursement strategies.
• Drive evidence generation and health economics initiatives to support the value proposition of the company s products.
• Work with local teams to shape payer engagement, funding pathways, and successful health technology assessments (HTA) or reimbursement submissions.
• Identify and pursue innovative access solutions tailored to each country s healthcare financing model.
Strategic Leadership & Alignment
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the META leadership team on public affairs and market access matters.
• Lead a team of market access/government affairs professionals in select META countries.
• Build internal capabilities and ensure best practices are shared across the region.
• Collaborate with related counterparts to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution.
Market Access Senior Manager Job Requirements:
• Bachelor s degree in Public Policy, Health Economics, Life Sciences, Law, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or market access in the healthcare sector.
• Deep understanding of health policy and reimbursement systems in META countries.
• Proven ability to engage and influence high-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Experience working in multinational, matrixed organizations and leading cross-functional projects.
• Fluent in English; additional regional languages (Arabic, Turkish, French) are a plus.
• Strategic & Politically Savvy: Understands regional policy landscapes and anticipates change to shape proactive strategies.
• Influential Communicator: Builds trust with stakeholders through clear, adaptive, and persuasive communication.
• Ethical & Credible: Acts with integrity and professionalism, representing the company with credibility in sensitive environments.
• Resilient & Agile: Navigates complexity and change with confidence, staying focused on long-term impact.
• Results-Driven: Combines vision with execution to deliver measurable access and policy outcomes.
• Willingness to travel regionally (up to 30%) .
