Strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the UAE health insurance system are essential. Fluency in English is required, with Arabic as an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage health insurance inclusion for products.

• Collaborate with local teams when appropriate.

Job description

The Market Access Manager role will design and implement strategies and programs aligned with the company's commercial priorities, enabling the inclusion of its products and those of its principals in all relevant health insurance providers in the UAE. The candidate should have a good understanding of HEOR and build strong relationships with stakeholders in the UAE health insurance market to anticipate trends that could impact reimbursement and advise on preventive actions.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing and facilitating health insurance inclusion for the company's products.
2. Building and maintaining a database on reimbursement eligibility and criteria for major UAE health insurance providers.
3. Advising the company on product aspects affecting reimbursement eligibility.
4. Developing strategies to ensure product inclusion in major health insurance plans.
5. Ensuring products are included at desired price levels and preventing downward price revisions.
6. Collaborating with principals and local market access teams when appropriate.

Managing relationships with health insurance providers:

1. Maintaining effective relationships with insurance providers and industry stakeholders.
2. Serving as the company's subject matter expert on local regulations, trends, and market developments.

Product Pricing and Coding:

1. Advising on pricing strategies for inclusion in health insurance plans.
2. Supporting registration, pricing approvals, and reimbursement code acquisition.
3. Developing and implementing cost-effective analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

• University degree in medicine, pharmacy, or a related scientific field.

Additional Information:

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in the UAE pharmaceutical industry with exposure to insurance tasks.
• 4-5 years of work experience in a UAE health insurance provider.
