Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Marine Service Engineer Fire & Security Systems to execute service, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning activities across diverse projects and service contracts. The role reports to the Branch Manager and blends technical expertise with customer interaction to ensure system reliability, safety, compliance and high satisfaction.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Fire Alarms, CCTV, PAGA, Access Control and Gas

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related fields.
• 68 years of experience with Fire & Security systems in marine offshore or industrial settings.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities with expertise in Fire Alarm Systems CCTV PAGA and Gas Detection Systems.
• Proficiency reading schematics and familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance troubleshooting and repairs of systems such as Fire Alarms CCTV PAGA Access Control and Gas Detection.
• Lead installation testing commissioning and integrations for both new and retrofit projects.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in control systems and associated devices.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operational activities and maintain detailed documentation of service activities.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless project execution.
• Provide technical advice and recommend system improvements to customers acting as a reliable point of contact on-site.
