Job summary

Smart Resourcing International in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates is seeking a Service Engineer for a reputed client. The role involves servicing life-saving and firefighting devices, calibration, and offshore maintenance on marine systems.

The candidate should have a BE or higher Design degree, 5–7 years of experience, excellent English, and willingness to travel offshore and undergo safety training. Reporting to the Department In-Charge, the role requires adherence to Quality/HSE procedures and

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Fire Combating and Life Conserving Devices
• Excellent English communication
• Age between 22-35 years

Responsibilities

• Servicing all types of life-saving and firefighting devices like Fire Extinguishers, lifesaving systems, BreathingDevice, Waterfall systems, All sorts of Compressors, taken care of systems.
• Maintenance of Compressors and also Engines as well as fire Pumps Hydro screening and filling up of Co2 and also Air Cylinders.
• Calibration of Portable tools like Fixed Gas Detection, Fire Discovery system, Monitors, as well as Air Samplingaboard, Oil Rigs Platforms as well as Support Ships.
• Overhauling of the compressors as well as servicing offshore.
• Calibration, troubleshooting, and examination of Fire Discovery System and Gas Detection System.
• Attending offshore services/ installment of calibration jobs whenever.
• Need to have the ability to create examination reports and also work done reports after the completion of the job.
• Ready to go through required training at the producers and also Safety Training.
• Preparing reports with respect to the inspection performed in the ERP system.
• Straight reporting to Dept, In-charge as well as works In-charge.
• Must be conversant with the Quality/HSE systems & procedures.
• Execute other special jobs as assigned/instructed by the Dept. in fee and the Department Manager.
• Various other Demands.
