Job summary

MARAFI MARINE CONTRACTING- L.L.C is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities on ongoing marine projects in Abu Dhabi. The role covers tendering take-offs, BOQs estimation, measurement and valuation of works, and interim payment applications.

The position requires 5-10 years in Quantity Surveying with marine construction experience, supporting variations, claims, final accounts, and cost reporting across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years Quantity Surveying experience, preferably with experience in marine construction projects.
• Quantity Surveyor with marine construction experience to support both pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities across ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tendering, quantity take-offs, BOQs estimation and bid preparation.
• Measurement and valuation of completed works.
• Prepare interim payment applications and assist with variations, claims and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and support cost reporting.
• Review subcontractor quotations and payment applications.
• Support subcontract procurement and commercial comparisons.
• Maintain variation, payment, and subcontract registers.
• Assist with contract administration under FIDIC-based contracts.
• Coordinate with project planning, procurement and finance teams.
• Provide commercial support across multiple marine projects.
