Job summary

MONTEC SHIP MANAGEMENT FZCO is seeking a maritime operations professional to ensure vessel certificates are maintained, surveys and audits are completed in a timely manner, and findings are recorded in ShipManager.

You will analyze data from vessels to support reporting and decision-making, deliver onboard crew training, and promote the company safety culture.

Qualifications

• Sailing history is mandatory.
• Knowledge of maritime software such as DNV ShipManager (or similar).
• Experience with flag and class requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all vessel certificates.
• Ensure surveys, audits and inspections are carried out timely in coordination with Operations, surveyors, auditors and inspectors.
• Record vessel surveys, audits and inspections accurately in ShipManager.
• Collect, analyze and process data from all vessels to support reporting and informed decision-making; improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare and deliver training to onboard crew as required.
• Promote and actively participate in the company safety culture.
