Job summary

NMDC Group is hiring an Assistant Cook to support meal preparation and service on a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger. You will assist in preparing vegetables, meat, fish and other ingredients as instructed by the Cook, while maintaining a clean galley and dining area.

Responsibilities include receiving and organizing provisions, observing hygiene practices, and helping with routine galley duties during busy periods and special catering needs.

Qualifications

• Basic galley cooking skills and meal service for crew.
• Attention to hygiene and cleanliness in galley areas.
• Ability to assist in receiving, storing, and organizing provisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cook in preparing and serving daily meals for crew onboard a dredger vessel.
• Prepare vegetables, meat, fish and other ingredients as instructed.
• Maintain galley, pantry and dining areas in a clean, hygienic condition.
