Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the fleet, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies to optimize performance and minimize operational costs.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs to ensure operational readiness of all vessels.
- Manage and mentor the fleet personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and training.
- Monitor fleet performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure service quality and address any operational concerns.
- Manage fleet-related budgets, control expenditures, and analyze financial performance.
- Ensure effective communication between departments to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting fleet operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on fleet status and performance to senior management.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marine fleet management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations, safety standards, and fleet performance metrics
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
- Experience with DP2 vessels is essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Willingness to travel as necessary for fleet oversight and operations
- Relevant certifications in maritime safety and management (e.g., ISM, ISPS) are advantageous.
