About The Role

You will deliver both informal and formal education programs, ensuring every guest leaves inspired and informed. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with guests enthusiastically, sharing information about marine life and the aquarium's theming.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of marine species, aquarium systems, animal care, conservation threats, and actions.
  • Deliver formal and informal conservation education programs and marine animal activities as needed.
  • Interact actively with guests within the Aquarium.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment, adhering to animal welfare practices.
  • Use learning resources to deepen knowledge of marine life and theming.
  • Accept constructive feedback during training and assessments.
  • Conduct research to improve presentation skills and product knowledge.
  • Gather guest feedback through surveys to promote ocean conservation awareness.
  • Maintain personal and professional development.
  • Stay updated with company facilities, events, and services.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental manuals.
  • Deliver service standards that exceed guest satisfaction targets.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

About You

We seek enthusiastic individuals with engaging personalities and strong communication skills, suitable for public speaking and guest service roles. Candidates should be outgoing, interpersonal, positive, self-motivated, and quick learners, especially regarding marine life and conservation topics. A background in hospitality, biology, or education (degree, certificate, or equivalent) is desirable. Basic computer skills and proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) are required.
