Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a senior coastal/ocean modeller to lead hydrodynamic and metocean studies, design campaigns and build complex models.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, expert MIKE 21/3, oil-spill modelling and familiarity with global standards; Gulf/shallow high-salinity-water exposure is preferred.

You will deliver model files and present results to navigation and coastal engineering teams.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in Coastal/Ocean Engineering or Physical Oceanography.
• 15+ years marine/coastal modelling.
• Expert MIKE 21/3 user.
• Oil-spill modelling using OILMAP/MIKE OS or equivalent.
• Gulf/shallow high-salinity-water experience.
• Metocean/ADCP experience.
• Familiarity with PIANC, CIRIA, BS 6349 and IPIECA-IOGP.
