Job summary

NMDC is seeking a Senior Coastal and Maritime Engineer to lead coastal modelling and design for marine and coastal infrastructure projects, including shoreline protection, ports, and breakwaters. You will manage multidisciplinary teams and drive technical excellence in an international consulting environment.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Coastal/Marine Engineering and 15+ years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and client engagement capabilities. Based in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Master’s Degree in Coastal/Marine Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in coastal engineering, marine infrastructure, numerical modelling, and project management.
• Proficiency in coastal modelling software such as MIKE 21, SWAN, CMS-WAVE, and related engineering tools.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities within international consulting environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead coastal engineering design and modelling activities for marine and coastal infrastructure projects.
• Oversee technical deliverables, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review engineering studies, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards.

Responsible for managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, overseeing technical deliverables, and supporting business growth through project leadership and client engagement.
