Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Providing siting, permitting, planning, licensing, compliance and environmental support of marine, coastal, geotechnical, and structural projects;
  • Managing multiple projects within the scope / budget / schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables;
  • Assisting with the delivery of projects including : project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract / subcontract management;
  • Assisting with managing waterfront structure and marine infrastructure projects;
  • Providing design and engineering services for a variety of areas such as harbors, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads and seawalls, breakwaters and shore protection structures, shoreline stabilization and sediment management;

Preparing engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications; and

Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to obtain repeat business.

Education and Licensure

Bachelor's degree in civil, coastal, structural or geotechnical engineering.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

At least 5 years of related experience overseeing coastal, marine, geotechnical, and structural engineering projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract / subcontract management.
