Job summary

Aldar Marinas in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Marina Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations, ensuring premier guest experiences and service standards across our berthing facilities.

You will oversee technical infrastructure, budgets, CAPEX, safety programs, and project delivery with contractors, while mentoring staff and representing the marina externally.

About the job

• Leading day-to-day marina operations, service standards, and overall guest experience
• Strong marina operational and technical knowledge, with hands-on understanding of marina infrastructure, systems, and assets
• Proven experience managing marina projects, including new marina developments, refurbishments, upgrades, and operational enhancements
• Team leadership, on-job training, staff scheduling, payroll, and attendance management
• Active involvement in marina budgets, financial planning, cost control, and CAPEX management
• Planning and overseeing annual marina maintenance programs, technical inspections, and operational readiness
• Overseeing projects, reporting progress, and following up with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant delivery
• Liaising with officials and authorities as required, including permits, inspections, approvals, and regulatory compliance
• Identifying areas of facility improvement and implementing operational and technical solutions
• Communication of marina philosophy and acting as the marina’s internal and external representative
• Managing boat owner requests and complaints, directing teams to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction
• Maintaining oversight of marina safety, hazards, and operational risks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Keeping senior management updated on marina performance, financial position, atmosphere, and guest sentiment
• Knowledgeable about VIPs, yacht arrivals, and special events, ensuring appropriate engagement
• Leading OSH management, emergency response, incident reporting, and risk management programs
• Ensuring compliance with Marina Standards & Operational Manual, Aldar Marinas policies, and authority requirements
• Undertaking additional responsibilities as required for the efficient, safe, and commercially successful operation of the marina
