Manufacturing Operations Executive

Job Description

The Manufacturing Operations Executive is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing production schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing practices, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day manufacturing activities to meet production targets
• Monitor workflow, equipment performance, and employee productivity
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product standards are upheld
• Coordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance teams for smooth operations
• Analyze production data and generate reports for management review
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist in planning and forecasting production needs based on demand
• Manage staffing schedules and training for manufacturing staff
• Address operational issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
• Proven experience in manufacturing or production operations
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in MS Office and production management software
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
