Job summary

Immensa is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – SME (Rotating Equipment) in Dubai to own the manufacturing lifecycle for rotating components such as pumps, turbines and gearboxes. You will interpret 3D/2D drawings, define production routes, and manage supplier collaboration to ensure OTIF delivery.

You will lead design/process reviews, manage risks, and coordinate with sales, DFAM and quality teams while maintaining strict quality and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering (Bachelor's).
• 5–6 years' experience in rotating equipment within oil & gas or heavy engineering.
• Deep subject-matter expertise in rotating equipment components and assemblies.
• Read/interpret 3D models and 2D drawings with full GD&T; familiarity with CAM/CNC programming is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and validate 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with GD&T for rotating components.
• Select manufacturing routes and materials for service conditions.
• Define and control critical rotating-function characteristics and balancing.
• Develop and manage project schedules and deliverables for rotating equipment orders.
• Drive supplier execution, review process plans and close technical queries.
• Lead design and process reviews; mitigate risks and provide practical solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and disposition non-conformances with engineers.
• Support ITPs and ensure supplier compliance to API/ASTM/ISO standards.
• Assist estimation/tendering by defining manufacturing journeys and lead times.
• Coordinate reverse-engineering and spare-parts projects as needed.
