Job summary

Cognita is seeking a detail-oriented SEN admissions reviewer based in Dubai. You will review prospective student applications and supporting documentation to identify SEN-related flags, gaps and potential support needs, and document findings for leadership review.

The role requires strong knowledge of IEPs, educational psychology reports and related materials, plus confidentiality and high organisational standards in a fast-paced admissions environment. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Fluent Mandarin speaking is essential
• Ability to identify SEN flags from documents, reports and assessments
• Excellent attention to detail to spot gaps and red flags
• Clear written communication when documenting findings for leadership
• Knowledge of SEN identification markers including IEPs and educational psychology reports
• Strong organisational skills to manage a high volume of applications

Responsibilities

• Screen applications and supporting documentation for SEN flags, concerns and potential support requirements
• Review and interpret IEPs, assessments, educational psychology reports, school support plans and relevant specialist or medical reports
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies or red flags within submitted documentation
• Summarise findings clearly for leadership, including recommendations such as flagged for learning support review
• Maintain accurate records of applications reviewed
• Work with admissions team to communicate status, concerns and required follow-up
• Ensure all screening activity is handled with confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism
