Responsibilities and Duties
- Acting as an independent expert witness
- Leading a team of dispute resolution professionals including consultants and experienced experts
- Providing expert witness testimony
- Representing main contractors, law firms, and employers in high-value disputes and arbitrations worth multiple millions of pounds
- Drive strategic growth through business development and client relationship management
- Take an active role in the recruitment, training, and development of high-performing staff to support business expansion
Desired Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Quantum Expert Witness, ideally with experience of testifying and cross-examination
- Proven ability to secure expert appointments and build a pipeline of dispute work
- Track record in leading teams and developing new business in the expert witness or consultancy space
- Background in complex construction projects and large-scale disputes, ideally across international jurisdictions
- Strong industry network and book of contacts
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree Qualified
- Ideally Chartered
- MSc in Construction Law or LLM qualification achieved or working towards highly preferred
