We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Manager to lead the operations and strategic growth of our tours and travel division. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, build strong vendor and client relationships, drive sales, manage team performance, and ensure a seamless customer experience across domestic and international travel offerings
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all operations of the tours and travel division including leisure, corporate, and group travel services.
Design, price, and market domestic and international travel packages.
Oversee bookings for flights, accommodations, visas, transport, and tour arrangements.
Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors, airlines, hotels, and tourism boards.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote travel services through online and offline channels.
Manage a team of travel consultants, providing training, motivation, and performance reviews.
Ensure excellent customer service standards and handle escalated client issues.
Monitor travel trends, competitor offerings, and emerging destinations to inform service development.
Handle budgeting, forecasting, and ensure profitability of operations.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, visa requirements, and travel policies.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and business development meetings as required.
Skills
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a managerial role in the travel industry.
Strong knowledge of international and domestic travel markets, visa procedures, and travel regulations.
Proven experience in managing a team and achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Proficient in using travel booking systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing travel industry dynamics.
