Job Description & Requirements

Assist the Program Manager/OPS Manager in all training related activities to successfully support customer mission requirements and meet all Key Performance Indicators. The Training Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, leading, and supervision of the aviation training department. With regard to planning the Training Manager identifies competencies/deficiencies for individuals and functional areas. Based on this assessment the Training Manager directs and manages the development, budget, implementation, execution, and evaluation of the training program(s).

Also will be responsible for:

• Responsible for the planning, organizing, leading and supervision of the aviation maintenance training department.
• Identify training needs, best methods, and develop materials needed to support professional development and company performance.
• Develop training program capable of producing well trained UAE nationals in support of maintenance support activity.
• Advise and assist company/directorate leadership, when requested, on companywide training matters.
• Work with line manager/customer to identify and meet training needs.
• Analyze training deficiencies and develop corrective actions accordingly.
• Develop relationships to enhance working environment with Learning & Development, Sections, and Customer.
• Direct the hiring, training, supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations of training department staff.
• Establish training procedures, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Continuously review and evaluate existing and proposed training programs.
• Implement training programs ensuring that all training requirements are satisfied, training is scheduled as applicable (daily, weekly, etc.).
• Monitor and report quarterly on the outcomes of the training program and progress.
