Skillset: Techno-commercial, contractual and legal related knowledge and skills

Day to Day Operations:

  1. Provides support to management during the pre-tender process starting from evaluating/assessing tenders, assessing risk factors to arrive at bid decisions, and estimating all the required material, equipment, and manpower needs to be able to arrive at reliable cost estimates for bidding projects.
  2. Review Client specification and understand the requirements.
  3. Send information relevant to specialized works/special material requirement to subcontractors/Production Departments/Procurement Department for required inputs.
  4. Communicate with Clients through the manager for any clarification/additional information if required.
  5. Inspection of vessels/platforms whenever required and discussion of technical/commercial details with Owner representatives.
  6. Preparation of detailed/accurate estimates and final bid documents (Tenders) for all types of projects.
  7. Prepare financial summary of the tenders for management approval.
  8. Update all required information on A forms before hand over.
  9. Attend to tender clarifications/additional quotations till project Contract is signed vessel arrive at the yard.
  10. Hand over project file along with all related document to the project team highlighting critical and specific requirement of the project.
  11. Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department/section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  1. Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Marine, Mechanical or Naval Architecture or Sea going Engineers with certificate issued by competent authority.
  2. Negotiation and soft skills.
  3. 10+ years experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects with minimum 2 years in a managerial position.
  4. Contract negotiation and administration.
  5. Commercial and business-related knowledge of EPC, Conversion, Renewables, offshore projects and new technologies.
  6. Knowledge and experience in EPC Offshore/Oil & Gas project estimate and/or module building estimate.
  7. Knowledge and experience in FPSO project estimate and/or module building estimate.
  8. Familiar with technical terms related to Offshore/Oil & Gas and wind energy related projects.
  9. Project Management and contract negotiation skills.
  10. Sound knowledge of world business dynamics and trends in the industry.
  11. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft office suite (word, PowerPoint, outlook, and excel).
