Job Summary

The Manager Counsellor is responsible for providing professional psychological support, counselling services, and proactive wellbeing initiatives for students.

The role supports students' mental health, emotional resilience, and academic performance through confidential counselling, wellness programming, and crisis intervention. The role also contributes to building a supportive campus culture through awareness, training, and outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic, emotional, interpersonal, and psychological concerns.
• Offer crisis intervention and mental health first aid, with appropriate referrals and escalation when necessary.
• Develop and implement campus-wide wellbeing initiatives, including workshops and psychoeducational programs.
• Deliver training sessions for faculty, staff, and students on recognizing signs of distress and supporting at-risk individuals.
• Ensure adherence to institutional protocols, ethical counselling standards, and UAE mental health regulations.
