This role is responsible for managing all aspects of Solutions Engineering within the Gulf team.

You will be responsible for establishing objectives and work plans and delegating assignments to the team. You will also ensure that the SE organization is fit for purpose to meet F5 company goals.

What you'll do
  • Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and report violations promptly.
  • Manage the Gulf SE team, including performance evaluations, approving paid time off, assigning work, providing training, guiding staff, conducting performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates.
  • Define core FY objectives, strategy, and priorities for Engineers in the SE team.
  • Partner with management to define headcounts quarterly and yearly to ensure scalability.
  • Manage candidate recruitment in collaboration with HR.
  • Ensure organizational effectiveness through effective communication, teamwork, and cooperation.
  • Develop and organize the SE organization to meet/exceed goals, including technical and professional development.
  • Maintain an effective SE partner plan (PS, support, Marketing, PM, etc.).
  • Engage in strategic planning to scale the SE organization and develop retention, recognition, compensation, and career planning strategies.
  • Ensure the SE team is customer-focused by driving product requirements, identifying market trends, ensuring customer success, and managing escalations.
  • Manage post-sales issues and escalations with support teams.
  • Present F5 strategy, solutions, and roadmap to customers and partners.
  • Understand customer requirements and challenges to present F5 solutions.
  • Identify and communicate market trends and analyze competition.
  • Support sales efforts with product feasibility analysis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
