Manager – SCM Finance

Location: Dubai

What We are Looking for-

We are looking for a finance professional with strong analytical and data-driven skills, ideally with experience in supply chain finance. The ideal candidate combines expertise in financial forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis with a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and cost drivers.

They are highly skilled in data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python/R) and advanced Excel (VBA, Macros), capable of translating complex data into actionable insights and KPIs. A strategic business partner, they possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, enabling them to influence decision-making and drive process improvements. 5+ years of relevant experience and a degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or Logistics are essential, along with fluency in English and the ability to thrive in a global, fast-paced environment.Job

Purpose:

The Manager SCM Finance is responsible for end-to-end financial planning, analysis, and cost control across the supply chain function. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and business partnering, while leveraging data analytics and advanced reporting tools to drive efficiency, cost optimization, and transparency. The individual will act as a strategic partner to the Supply Chain Operations team, ensuring fact-based decision-making, continuous process improvement, and robust financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost control activities for supply chain operations.
  • Perform monthly reporting, variance analysis, and business case creation to support operational decisions.
  • Analyze big data from SAP, CFIN, MicroStrategy, and vendor systems to identify cost and service improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct GAP analysis, root cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions for underperformance.
  • Partner with SCM Operations on business analysis, project support, productivity tracking, and benchmarking to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and control both fixed and variable SCM costs, understanding cost drivers and fluctuations.
  • Support supply chain projects and investment business cases, quantifying potential improvements and ROI.
  • Collaborate with global and regional SCM Finance and Market Finance teams to drive alignment and transparency.
  • Develop and implement performance management KPIs and dashboards to enhance decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned and sharing best practices.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and communication packages for management and stakeholders.

  • EM Supply Chain Operations (Country SCM, Inbound/Outbound Logistics).
  • Global SCM Finance team.
  • EM Market Finance & Demand Planning teams.
  • EM HR and regional/country HR teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analysis, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, cost control, or business partnering.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy) and programming languages (SQL, R, Python preferred).
  • Advanced Excel (VBA, Macros) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with SAP and CFIN is an advantage.
  • Logical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end supply chain processes and retail industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in an international environment.
