Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai is seeking a Manager - Risk & Compliance to support the VP in developing and enforcing risk and compliance policies across MAF Retail, ensuring consistent implementation across markets.

The role involves coordinating country teams, guiding risk initiatives, investigating fraud, and ensuring adherence to laws and internal standards while strengthening governance and protecting assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in risk and compliance, with 2+ years in retail.
• AML Compliance and ABAC.
• Regulatory Compliance & Governance.
• Conflict of Interest Assessment & Management.
• Fraud prevention, detection, and investigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Vice President Risk and Compliance in establishing and updating risk and compliance policies and procedures for all the Countries across MAF Retail.
• Coordinate and follow up with that all Countries’ to ensure alignment with the security policies and procedures.
• Assist the Vice President Risk and Compliance with developing and implementing risk management and Risk and Compliance initiatives.
• Contribute to development of recommendations and solutions for disasters and other crisis situations.
• Recommend improvements and new developments on the Risk and Compliance systems.
• Analyse retail data and information from the committee meetings and ensure that action plans are prepared.
• Participate in investigations of fraud cases such as employee theft, breach of ethics, corruption and violations of Risk and Compliance policies and recommend resolutions when required.
• Ensure all external/internal investigations and decisions comply with applicable laws, company policy, and industry leading practices to reduce company exposures to civil litigation.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Manager - Risk and Compliance is responsible for supporting Vice President – Risk and Compliance in developing policies and procedures and ensuring its implementation across the countries. • 5+ years professional experience in similar function, 2+ years in retail .
• Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC).
