Talabat is seeking a Manager Rider Projects & Processes to lead both strategic projects and all rider process optimization within the Rider Lifecycle function across MENA. This dual-focused role involves managing end-to-end projects like EVs, Rider Loyalty, Summer Planning, etc., while also defining, analyzing, improving, and standardizing rider-related processes like Rider clawback, Rider Payment Transparency, Proof of Delivery, etc. Reporting to the Director Rider Lifecycle, the candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and scalability.
The candidate will collaborate with regional and country-level teams across logistics, finance, legal, and HR while also driving Delivery Hero's operational agenda. Responsibilities include documenting and streamlining cross-functional processes, identifying root causes of inefficiencies, and driving continuous improvement and standardization.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate a track record of delivering results.
Develop and implement value-based process standardization and best practices for the rider that capture best interest and ensure business growth across all 8 markets.
Manage stakeholders including legal, finance, public affairs, dispatch, and other senior leadership to align strategies with overall business goals.
Own multiple projects at once to ensure smooth data-driven decision making and innovative ideation to improve riders' daily experience on the platform.
Set up cadence for workstreams and communications flow to raise and address blockers, ensuring mitigation is in place when needed.
Lead a small team of senior specialists responsible for exploring opportunities to further develop our rider processes and project streamline its maintenance with the regional team.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced operations-heavy environment, preferably in ecommerce platform businesses or last-mile logistics.
Highly systematic, detail-oriented, and organized with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
SQL & data modeling skills are a plus.
Effective Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and business stakeholders.
Strong project and product management skills with the ability to translate business needs into operational strategies.
