Talabat is seeking a Manager, Rider Projects & Processes to lead both strategic projects and all rider process optimization within the Rider Lifecycle function across MENA. This dual-focused role involves managing end-to-end projects like EVs, Rider Loyalty, Summer Planning, etc., while also defining, analyzing, improving, and standardizing rider-related processes like Rider clawback, Rider Payment Transparency, Proof of Delivery, etc. Reporting to the Director, Rider Lifecycle, the candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and scalability.
The candidate will collaborate with regional and country-level teams across logistics, finance, legal, and HR, while also driving Delivery Hero's operational agenda. Responsibilities include documenting and streamlining cross-functional processes, identifying root causes of inefficiencies, and driving continuous improvement and standardization.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate a track record of delivering results.
What s On Your Plate?
- Develop and implement value-based process standardization and best practices for the rider that capture best interest and ensure business growth across all 8 markets.
- Manage stakeholders, including legal, finance, public affairs, dispatch, and other senior leadership, to align strategies with overall business goals.
- Own multiple projects at once to ensure smooth execution, data-driven decision making, and innovative ideation to improve riders' daily experience on the platform.
- Set up cadence for workstreams and communications flow to raise and address blockers, ensuring mitigation is in place when needed.
- Lead a small team of senior specialists responsible for exploring opportunities to further develop our rider processes and streamline its execution and maintenance with the regional team.
What Did We Order?
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, operations-heavy environment, preferably in e-commerce, platform businesses, or last-mile logistics.
- Highly systematic, detail-oriented, and organized, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
- SQL & data modeling skills are a plus.
- Effective Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and business stakeholders.
- Strong project and product management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into operational strategies.
