Description

We are looking for an experienced Restructuring Senior Associate / Manager to help deliver clarity to our clients' most complex governance, risk, and transparency challenges. As a member of our team, you'll work with banks, special situations funds, private equity houses, and corporates. You will assist them in insolvency and distressed situations, as well as support our Corporate Finance practice in transactions involving M&A services and financial due diligence reports. This role will be part of our Restructuring team in the Middle East.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Assist companies in financial distress, including pre-crisis situations, out-of-court workouts, and restructuring processes.
  • Prepare or analyze cash flow forecasts, business plans, and financial models.
  • Assist with developing strategies, including reorganization plans, contingency planning, or alternative solutions.
  • Assist with valuation analysis and financial modeling for various options, including liquidation, restructuring, and sale.
  • Engage in significant client interaction at multiple levels, including preparation for and participation in management and new business presentations.
  • Conduct industry and business research.
Essential traits:

You have 5-8 years of experience in financial turnaround programs, cash and working capital management, and building, reviewing, or maintaining short-term cash flow models.

You have a degree in Business Administration or a similar field. MBA and/or Chartered Accountant certifications are considered a plus.

  • Demonstrable experience in some of the following situations is essential: balance sheet restructurings, options analysis, contingency planning, trading administration, IBRs, distressed sale, and/or Company Voluntary Arrangement.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work a demanding schedule in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • You possess strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
