About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Manager – Quality & Performance to join TECOM Group. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

The role holder is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a company-wide Quality Management Strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and continuous improvement principles. This includes establishing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS), performance measurement frameworks, governance structures, and business excellence programs. The position also drives strategic reporting and performance improvement across all TECOM brands and support functions through research, benchmarking, and best practice implementation.

Quality Management Systems:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and the transparency expected of a listed company.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement to enhance operational performance, customer satisfaction, and stakeholder confidence.
  • Establish quality frameworks for planning, control, assurance, and improvement, applying methodologies such as TQM, Lean, and Six Sigma.
  • Oversee quality plans, audits, and system reviews to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategy, business plan, and disclosure obligations.
  • Review and enhance TECOM’s governance framework—including DOA, policies, SLAs, and core processes—to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

Corporate Performance:

  • Support the development of TECOM’s corporate and functional scorecards in alignment with the approved strategy and business plan.
  • Lead the reporting of KPIs, ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable performance updates, including variance analysis and proposed corrective actions.
  • Guide business units in formulating KPIs that align with organizational objectives and drive strategic execution.
  • Maintain a structured database of performance results and provide analysis on trends to support strategic decision-making.

Delegation of Authorities Governance:

  • Support the development of organization governance structure and Delegation of Authorities (DOA) matrix for overall TECOM, its related entities and committees by defining clear authorities and responsibilities.
  • Monitor the adherence of the business to the DOA and report on regular basis on the exceptions and deviations to ensure accountability and transparency
  • Recommend enhancements to the DOA based on business needs, regulatory changes, and leading practices to maintain relevance and operational effectiveness

Business Excellence:

  • Lead the development of internal excellence award programs in compliance with international standards and best practices (ISO).
  • Supervise the submissions of TECOM for different Excellence awards and programs.
  • Benchmark the performance of Critical Processes against competitors and best-in-class companies
  • Play a key role in managing systems projects to implement new or enhanced technology (ERP, CRM … etc.)
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all organizational units within TECOM, Certification Companies, DQG, Government Entities, Research Centers, Training Institutes, and all stakeholders of Corporate Excellence.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a background in quality management, performance management, or consulting.
  • ISO Certified Lead Auditor
  • Knowledge of improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma desirable.
  • Good understanding of Balanced Score Card (BSC) Methodology.
  • 7 - 9 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of the latest and leading practices in Continuous improvement and Performance management methods and technologies with demonstrated results.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrates advanced capabilities in presentation delivery, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities complemented by expertise in process mapping. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Visio.
