Job Title: Manager - Quality
Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish Project Quality team and organization, develop Project Quality Plan, identify key procedures, and monitor implementation.
  2. Prepare project quality plan with details on quality practices, resources, and sequence of activities relevant to a particular contract/project.
  3. Review/approve Quality Audit schedule for each project encompassing the specific project requirements.
  4. Appraise vendor’s capability to provide suitable product/service.
  5. Convene pre-inspection meetings and approve inspection and test plan and procedures.
  6. Ensure proper planning for inspection activities, availability of all necessary documents at inspection release, and implement suitable corrective actions.
  7. Maintain cordial relationship with Client Representative and ensure that client quality requirements are understood, agreed, and fulfilled.
  8. Ensure project KPIs are defined, measured, monitored, and actions implemented for any identified gaps.
  9. Analyze quality information (audit results, process/product non-conformities, feedback, etc.) and identify corrective and preventive actions.
  10. Conduct review of the quality management system and monitor implementation of management review actions.
  11. Control and distribute all company quality documentation.
  12. Monitor all quality-related activities on the project.
  13. Ensure all internal and external audits are carried out as planned.
  14. Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
  15. Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate project requirements with bidders.
  16. Attend client quality management meetings.
  17. Ensure project quality system management documentation is prepared prior to project commencement.
  18. Ensure disposition of all issued non-conformance reports.
  19. Ensure the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and recommend improvements when required.
  20. Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the Site Quality Manager.
  21. Coordinate all quality-related correspondence with customer representatives.
  22. Compile monthly reports and submit to Quality Director.
  23. Monitor statistical method reporting, monthly KPIs.
  24. Ensure all customer complaints are closed appropriately.
  25. Manage a multidisciplinary team of QA/QC personnel, aligning quality resources with business needs to ensure effective project coverage.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • A graduate university degree in Engineering.
  • Manager - Minimum 20-25 years of relevant work experience, including 10 years in Oil & Gas and 5 years in a Senior Quality Management Role. International certifications such as QMS, Welding, NDE, etc., are preferred. Site Quality Managers may have a graduate degree/diploma in Engineering.
