Manager Projects - Technical Supply Chain
As a Project Manager, you are accountable for leading the delivery of long-term technical Supply Chain projects and programs to ensure objectives are met according to plan, schedule, and budget, aligning with business objectives.
Accountabilities
- Lead cost efficiency projects across the Technical Supply Chain.
- Identify, develop, and implement cost-saving initiatives within the Technical Supply Chain.
- Develop business cases to evaluate the feasibility of proposed projects based on costs and benefits.
- Lead the development of large project proposals and solution plans following internal methodologies.
- Create, monitor, and update program work plans to ensure requirements are managed and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with project sponsors and business leads to ensure stakeholders are informed for decision-making.
- Analyze and review change requests to evaluate impacts on timelines and budgets.
- Report key milestones and issues to senior stakeholders to address critical areas promptly.
- Manage operational issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Lead program monitoring activities to identify and manage risks and issues effectively.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of policies, standards, and core processes to enhance Project Management methodologies.
- Participate in updating Etihad's Project Management framework and handbook to align with best practices.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree or higher (e.g., vocational certificate, Bachelor's, Master's).
- Project management qualification (e.g., PMP, APM, PMI membership) or proven knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
- Hands-on experience managing programs/projects focused on Cost & Efficiency.
- Experience in building business cases for project feasibility assessments.
- Experience in the aviation industry is highly preferred.
