This role combines hands-on AI development with strategic leadership, driving the creation and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions across the organization.

Role Overview

The AI Engineering Manager will oversee the design and implementation of sophisticated AI technologies, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and graph neural networks. They will lead initiatives involving state-of-the-art natural language processing using tools such as spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, and the latest generative AI APIs.

The successful candidate will architect and manage scalable vector search systems like Weaviate, Pinecone, or Milvus, and spearhead the development of autonomous multi-agent environments. Integration of generative AI models including GPT, DALL-E, and GANs will be a key focus, alongside leveraging transformer architectures such as BERT, T5, and ViT to solve complex NLP and computer vision challenges.

Leadership and Strategic Responsibilities

This role requires developing technology roadmaps aligned with business goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed AI solutions throughout the company, and making critical architectural decisions for cloud-based and edge AI deployments. The AI Engineering Manager will also balance resource allocation across multiple AI projects to maximize impact.

Building and mentoring a high-performing AI engineering team is a core responsibility. The manager will foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning, guiding recruitment efforts and providing career development support to team members.

Candidate Profile

1. Expert-level proficiency in Python, with extensive experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
2. Strong background in reinforcement learning, generative AI, and vector similarity search technologies.
3. Practical experience with MLOps, big data platforms such as Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop, and cloud/edge computing solutions.
4. Proven success delivering complex AI projects and managing engineering teams within agile frameworks.
5. Excellent communication skills, strategic mindset, and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Over 8 years of experience in AI/ML roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
3. Recognized contributions to AI research or industry projects, demonstrated through publications or notable achievements.
